1920s French Art Deco pendant in frosted glass and brass — stepped geometry and a soft, diffused glow.

A French Art Deco pendant light from the 1920s, composed of a frosted pressed-glass shade with stepped geometric rings and a finely turned brass canopy and fittings. When lit, the glass softens the bulb into a warm, even field — typical of the period’s preference for atmospheric rather than harsh illumination. The brass has settled into an even honeyed tone; the glass is free of cracks or significant chips. The fixture has been carefully rewired for contemporary safety standards while preserving original hardware. Suitable above a dining table, in an entry, or as a singular ceiling object in a spare room. A pure period piece that reads as jewellery for the ceiling plane.
