1970s Murano sculpture in amber and clear glass — a fluid, light-catching form from the Venetian furnaces.

A hand-blown Murano glass sculpture from the late 1970s, combining transparent and deep amber glass in a twisted organic form. Light moves through the piece throughout the day, throwing warm colour onto nearby surfaces — less a static ornament than a changing presence in the room. Internal bubbles and slight asymmetries are natural to the furnace process and part of the object’s character. No cracks; the foot is stable. Ideal on a plinth, sideboard or within a glazed cabinet where daylight can reach it. A strong example of postwar Venetian studio glass for collectors of Italian decorative arts.
