Teak Wingback Lounge Chair

€4,200

1950s Danish wingback in warm teak and cognac leather — a quiet, architectural lounge piece with generous proportions.

A classic mid-century wingback lounge chair from Denmark, circa 1950s. The sculpted teak frame supports deep cognac leather upholstery with a gently winged back and rolled arms that read as both architectural and inviting. Hand-finished wood shows a warm honey tone; the leather has developed a soft, honest patina without tears or structural fatigue. Pieces of this type sit comfortably in living rooms and libraries alike — substantial enough to anchor a seating group, calm enough for a gallery interior. Original brass nail detailing remains intact. Suitable for collectors seeking Scandinavian seating with presence rather than novelty. Offered as a single chair. Additional photographs and condition notes available on request.
