Designed by celebrated Spanish designer Patricia Urquiola and produced by Andreu World, the 'Nub' armchair is an exceptional example of contemporary design mastery. Originally introduced in 2007 and recognized with a National Design Award, the collection's primary artistic motif centers on intricate woodwork. The chair features a sculptural black-lacquered wooden frame with a distinctive spindle backrest, contrasted against a slender tubular metal sled base. The piece is completed by a removable upholstered seat cushion in a rich, deep burgundy-red fabric, creating a sharp, graphic visual profile. Preserving its original manufacturer labels on the underside denoting production in Spain, this armchair bridges classic craftsmanship with postmodern sensibility. Well-suited for a refined living room, study, or gallery setting, two identical armchairs are currently available in our gallery and may be acquired individually.
