An exceptional set of six Model 209 chairs produced by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna in 2005, showcasing one of the most iconic silhouettes in the history of bentwood furniture. Originally conceived in the late 19th century and later celebrated by Le Corbusier, the design is renowned for its ingenious single-piece bentwood frame that forms both the armrests and the sweeping backrest. This contemporary production features a striking custom-style aesthetic with a pale blue lacquered beech frame and comfortable circular padded seats upholstered in a soft beige tone. Complete with original manufacturer labelling, including the traditional embossed metallic badge and wooden atelier stamp underneath. Offered in good condition with minor signs of handling consistent with occasional use.
