Discover an exceptional 'Woodstick' coffee table designed by the celebrated Brazilian modernist Percival Lafer. This highly sought-after design is defined by its rich, architectural construction, featuring a textured mosaic composition built from individually shaped and toned wooden elements displayed beneath a clear glass top. Darker solid uprights frame the composition, establishing a striking contrast with the dynamic grain variations within. A particularly clever engineering detail of this model is its folding structure, allowing the side supports to collapse for simplified transport and storage. An iconic representation of 1970s Brazilian design, the Woodstick model is well-documented on the international collector's market and regularly appears in European design auctions. Please note: this table is offered without the glass top, which can easily be custom-cut to size at any local glass workshop. Retaining its wonderful original character, this piece makes a stunning statement in any Mid-Century Modern or eclectic interior.
