Designed by Giandomenico Belotti in 1979 for the esteemed Italian manufacturer Alias, these semi-bar stools represent a true milestone of European industrial design. Part of the celebrated Spaghetti series—named after the distinctive tension-cord weaving that forms the seat and backrest—the design achieves a striking balance of graphic minimalism and ergonomic comfort. Crafted with a sleek tubular metal frame and durable black synthetic cordwork, the construction remains remarkably airy yet structurally robust for everyday modern living. Each stool features the original manufacturer's branding, affirming its authenticity and provenance. Standing at an ideal counter height with a 64 cm seat elevation, they are exceptionally suited for kitchen islands or elevated dining bars. Offered in excellent vintage condition with well-preserved cord tension and clean framing, presenting a pristine example of late 1970s Italian design. A set of two is available, with the listed price applying to each individual piece.
